Gord wrote this song for his nephew, who passed away not long after he was born with a heart condition.
It's fucking hard to watch this, the emotion he's showing and his reaction to the applause when he's finished singing.
Heard later that they had teleprompters set up so he could read the lyrics, because his memory was fucked up from the cancer and he was having trouble remembering stuff. Rewatching some of the songs from the last show, you can spot them and see him using them. Fuck.
