So @APRIL had a huge pain in the ass issue with Lastpass. Their support was essentially nonexistent. I had thought about converting to BitWarden a while back, but thought it seemed like a pain in the ass. Finally made the switch yesterday and it literally took me 5 minutes.

If you're not familiar, BitWarden is an open source (and essentially free) password manager.

What happened with Ass Pass?

How the fuck did it get deleted? Do you know if it's a common thing?
No. A client wanted to add her to their enterprise account. April was a dummy and used her real account for this. Then when she asked them to remove it, they unknowingly deleted the account totally. Altogether it probably took 3-4 days to get resolved. Or hell maybe more. And only the enterprise people were any sort of help. The paying individual support was essentially nonexistent.

I had started looking at BitWarden like a year or so ago when I found my Lastpass Premium had expired and they had increased the price from like $12 to $36, with no notification. Asked support about the old price, and they told me to fuck off and deal with it.

Turns out it was SUPER FUCKING EASY to move to BitWarden. And although I don't need their premium at all, I bought it for $10/yr, because I will support good software.

Gave up and continued to give Quicken my money for a subscription to their fuckin' software.

I would feel less dirty if I were supporting good software, but this is bottom of the barrel fuckin' India DevOPS shite. I had some friends who worked there years ago who essentially had to train their Indian replacements before they got fired.
