Might be interested in getting the old RAM off you. I need to check if this thing takes DDR3 or DDR3L. I knew at one point but have forgotten.Yeah, feck.
What sucks is that at this point I have to upgrade all the RAM as well, cause it's DDR3. Basically doubles the cost of the upgrade.
Coconut oil...I did. Fats, like butter, are solid at room temp. Oils, like vegetable oil, are liquid.
I resisted saying it the other day, but couldn't stop myself todayopcorn:
Hey guise, cats and dirt are the same thing cuz their both molecules! lololololI thought I explained that was immaterial to the discussion.

Back to arguing minutiae I see...
And it's pretty close. Go look at the pool of oil sitting on top of your jar.Coconut oil...
https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-difference-between-coconut-fat-and-coconut-oilWhen we talk about fats and oils, there is only one distinction: a fat is solid at room temperature and an oil is not. Coconut "oil", if it is refined and not fractionated (see below), is actually about 91% saturated fat. This means at room temperature, unprocessed coconut "oil" is (mostly) solid and makes it really a fat.
In order for coconut oil to be truly an oil, it needs to be fractionated. In this process, you take your raw coconut fat up to a certain temperature and remove the solid parts, leaving an oil. This oil is lower in saturated fatty acids and hence its melting curve drops a couple of degrees. Do this fractionation right and you will be left with an oilier substance, which is probably what you are using if your coconut product is liquid.

Where do I find this gear? Ebay? Reddit?thats an old proc (i have a couple in my desktop type pcs, theyre great, but plex could use more). Im amazed you got 10 streams on that. Its a solid passmark score for what it is though.
I wouldnt upgrade unless you can at least double the passmark to 12ishk.
A 200ish dollar option that lets you do that in a desktop form factor is a E5-26xx V2 proc (100-150), with an x79 desktop mobo (30-50)

Looks like I found a Intel Xeon E5-2670 v2 on Ebay for $155. I'll try bidding on it.
