Interesting. I already have an alarm, so I don't need any sensors. However, I do need a motion sensor for my entryway. The price for those doesn't seem that sweet tho. :hs:

about comparable to the china gear... but bosch.

The sensors are also temp sensors if thats anything you need.

@gee you wanna explain DIN rail blocks to me?

I've talked with you about this before for a power distribution bar, and im wrapping my head around it again, and DIN rail blocks seem a good fit.

^^ if i plug a live 3.3v wire into any hole on that din block, and then a buncha other wires i want that voltage distributed to, it should all be interconnected and carry the 3.3v out right?

Theres also this thing..

2 in 8 out? What does that mean. Theres 4 in and 26 out best i can tell, and i dont understand how theyre interconnected.

The 1st link you posted is a grounding block, both terminals are electrically connected to the DIN rail itself as an earth ground. If you isolate the rail and feed +3.3V into it, it'll work, but I wouldn't call it an elegant solution.

Here the datasheet for the 2nd one. Page 5 has the wiring diagram.

There's 2 "potentials" (basically meaning 2 separate circuits), each has two fat contacts and 16 little contacts. The top row is one potential, the bottom row is the other potential. Not sure how the potentials are split across the fat contacts, but it's probably labeled or at least quick to figure out.
