Question

My suggestion is 'bloat,' but that's a word what covers a lot of ground. Also, I think I'm of the camp which thinks you're remembering some made up thing without any mooring in reality. It's nothing to be ashamed of. I expect that a good three-quarters of everything I remember is more or less made up.

On the flip side, my memoirs ought to read like a Jules Verne adventure novel. Just you wait till I get to the bit about the vampire cats and the treasure of Maineville, Ohio!
