WTF Private Healthcare Sucks, but less than public

Why should they have to. When has it been a requirement for any job that it's done for the good of the people. I'm willing to bet you less that 5% of medical people anywhere do it for the good of the people. Know one in their right mind is going to go to school for that long to do something for the good of the people. That is why the US doesn't recognize half of the worlds medical schools because they are sub par.

Plenty of people become doctors simply to help others. Plenty also become doctors for the money. I don't care why they become doctors, I just want healthcare available and affordable for everyone.

Yes I have and most of those places have everything else super expensive to pay for that so called excellent heath service. Example gas being over $9 a gallon.

Negative. It's the high income tax that pays for the healthcare.

Gas is expensive because they don't want the pollution from cars. Also why cars are so expensive.

It's the start of school, all dentist offices are full and most are even working extended hours for the backlog of kids.

Also stop feeding your kid sugar and soda pop please.

So? Of course they are at it to make a living. It takes tons of time and money to even get a dental degree, let alone open a practice. If you don't like a dentist, find a new one, no one is forcing you to visit the dentist that doesn't care about his patients.

Saying only people that want to serve the country and sacrifice their time to better the people can be doctors or dentists is stupid, are you in your profession simply for the good of the people? No, so how can you expect them to pick their profession that way.

Aren't dental degrees only 2 years?

In addition to a bachelors. I'm not sure of the extent of getting a dental degree, but I've heard it is one of the hardest degrees to get, both mentally and physically. You cannot work while going to school, you just couldn't handle both. Also, if you want to be a pediatric dentist, there is more training for just that on top of the regular dental degrees.

lol 6 years? WTF is that shit? 6 years to learn the human mouth? And it's not even all of the mouth. LMFAO!! Who came up with that bullshit system?

4 year bio undergrad with pre-doc, 2 year masters which will get you started with basic dentistry. If you actually want your own practice, you need a doctorate, another 2 years. My ortho friend had 10 years of school for his degrees.

Ultimately you, and really everyone, feels the exact same way, man. And that's the same the world round, not just the US of A.

True. It is a lot of other countries. But this country, the USA, was once freakin awesome! It's like the land of opportunity is being ass raped by capitalist greed. Everyone is trying to milk as much prosperity out of this country as they can without trying to maintain that well of prosperity.

So silly. People can become a dentist in about 3 years in Denmark. 2 years for education, 1 year intern.

Everyone, everywhere is doing that. From Beverly Hills to the Slum Dog Millionaire slum in India. Everyone has a hustle, and they're ultimately in it for themselves. (and the people directly connected to them).

To be fare there are some countries that "get it", and have a socialist system in place to make sure everyone gets the same opportunities that the country can provide. Looks to Scandinavia, and a few other European countries. Australia is bipolar when it comes to this.
