Needs to cut his hair AT LEAST half the length, that style doesn't work with his face and also it was out in the 80s. Hair product in mens long hair just makes me giggle too.

Something that keeps some of the length like:

...may be a little too rico suave for him, but something to that effect. It'll be higher maintenence, but he would look really updated.
