Chronoshark has a watch up today celebrating Belize. Whoever wrote the intro is kind of funny.

Accutron by Bulova 26B78 Belize Collection
http://www.chronoshark.com/p-573-ac...-watch.aspx?a_bid=f14737cd&a_aid=123&pmc=sdfp

The Central American country of Belize has a rich, diverse society, none of which is represented in this Accutron Belize Collection watch.

Instead of crafting this sleek timepiece from mahogany or sugar cane, this Accutron is crafted largely from solid stainless steel, which accounts for roughly 0% of Belize's chief exports. The colors of the watch bracelet, case and bezel are silvertone, which neither represents Belize's national flag nor their small gold-mining industry. Finally, the inner precise movement of this Accutron is Swiss-Made to reflect the non-existent Swiss population of Belize.

That being said, this Accutron by Bulova Belize Collection watch is a breathtaking timepiece that celebrates the spirit of Belize.

nice description, though I don't at all like the watch. Needs a less curvy strap, more numbers and less blue.

I was expecting Mercedes images.

Yeah I don't like the watch to much either. I've been looking for a new one, just can't figure out what I want. Panerai 005, IWC 3717 or a Omega Speedmaster Pro.

So, I put my Omega up FS last night.... 20 min later some one bought it.

I'm calling today to see if I can pick up the 3717 at the price I want. It's pretty freaking classy/simple.

Sherlock Holmes had transferred to a police precinct in South Los Angeles over a month ago, and still, none of the other detectives gave him any respect. He was beginning to get a bit tired of their inside jokes and backhanded compliments, so he decided that the only way to earn their respect was to solve a perplexing mystery using only his wits.
He accompanied Detective Lee on a missing persons case, which led them to an abandoned nightclub in the View Park neighborhood.
Holmes eagerly shouted, "I'll start dusting for footprints!" and started digging in his bag.
"Yeah, you do that," said Lee, rather patronizingly. "I'll start combing the area for bodily fluids."
Holmes dusted the area for footprints, looking like a schoolboy on an Easter egg hunt. Every few moments, he would mutter something to the effect of, "Hmm... very interesting, indeed."
Just as Detective Lee was about to rabbit-punch Sherlock in the back of the head and pretend it was an accident, Holmes jolted upright with a tiny, shiny dot on his finger. He stood silent.
"What?" Detective Lee finally asked.
"This," said Holmes, "Is a goldtone dot hour marker from a Skagen Steel Collection Men's watch, identical to the one owned by the missing gentleman.
"Great," said Lee. "So we definitely know that he was here."
Sherlock smirked. "Oh, naive Detective Lee," began Holmes. "Not only does it mean that he was here, but it tells quite another tale altogether. You see, Skagen watches are built with the utmost in durability and strength. For a dot hour marker to shake free of the stainless steel case and caseback, there must have been quite a struggle." Holmes adjusted his posture and raised his finger in the air. "Detective Lee, we are looking at a kidnapping or homicide!"
Detective Lee conceded that Holmes had a very valid point and the evidence to somewhat support his claim. Nevertheless, when Holmes's back was turned, Lee rabbit-punched him in the back of the head.

Most interesting sales pitch on a watch.

Ha, at least it's funny. I see a lot of "wannabe" watch companies making fancy websites an bullshit history. They fool a lot of people into thinking they've just bought some high end watch.

Renato is one. Just check out there site. They say things like "you'll see a lot of these in boardroom meetings"

I wish I could keep a watch from being destroy by my bumbling mannerisms for longer that 4 weeks. even military watches I have broken.

This should fit the bill.

but really, if you can break this! Then I'm not sure WTF your wrist was made out of. I strapped one to my bike wheel and rode it for a while, then boiled it and froze it. Tick Tock that sucker still runs.
