They also make food bowls with a "moat" around the outside to put water in.

Yes we did this, with a baking dish with a little water in it and the dog food bowl in the middle. Even kept out the fire ants

I voted no on this because our friends have a greyhound and the greyhound rescue groups said the dogs will go from excellent conditions to shelter conditions.

That's all sorts of fucked up.

They were being phased out already, and there was a plan in place to slowly get rid of the dogs. That's why I voted no.
