So.... the FBI took Trumps passports.

Sounds like he had a personal passport, and expired personal passport, and a black passport (USG/diplomat). Im actually not sure if former presidents get to keep their diplomatic passports once theyre not govt employees, I know I sure dont.

Also... sounds a whole lot like "dont leave town buddy"
So, obviously a flight risk.
Think he will allow himself to be arrested?

So, I have three things that Trump doesn't now?

- an unbanned twitter account
- a valid passport
- a positive net worth

I don't get it. If I had any of that shit, I'd be in a prison so deep and dark, I'd have to sign a waiver affirming that I'm not attending on behalf of Anish Kapoor, but he's still fuckin' walking around and shit?

I'm beginning to think there might be a bit of a double standard here.

I'm shocked they STILL haven't moved on it. I get doing everything right but he's still basically handpicking republican nominations and campaigning etc.

Is there any real reason to have released this affadavit thing?

Learn me here: I'm genuinely clueless.

As far as I can tell, the only reason why it's getting released is because Trump asked for it to be released, as sort of a dare. So, now it's released, but with a bunch of shit redacted. So, Trump's getting what he wants - he'll get to crow about how the DoJ won't release the whole thing, and his followers won't bother to read it in the first place, so it's a lose-lose for anyone actually interested in holding that dipshit to account.

Most of the major news organizations joined the suit and wanted it released as well.

Well, the pearl clutching on Fox News' front page pretty much plays exactly to my point.

There wasn't anything that would satisfy the right, so they're going to nitpick what they weren't allowed to see as if it somehow exonerates ol' Don.

The only thing I'm glad to see is that there wasn't RD or FRD in the mix of docs described.

Meh, the cultists fundamentally and fully believe Trump can do no wrong. Like if he himself said "I stole every secret we had and gave them to Putin. He paid me by letting me watch Melania and some ten year olds suck him off before he fucked me." the cultists would fully support that. No use in letting them dictate the actions of everyone else.

It is newsworthy and there is value in the public knowing as much of the extent of criminality as possible.
