Reading some other odds makers, betting sites, all this stuff with Cohen and investigations hasn't hurt Trump yet.

In the words of James Carville, "It's the economy, stupid." 71% of the country thinks the economy is strong at the moment. If that keeps up and the dems nominate a far left candidate Trump will probably get re-elected unfortunately.

That being said, you'd think the moron in the White House would be talking about the economy at his campaign stops and on Twitter instead of continuing to attack a dead senator.

At what point can we place some responsibility on the individuals actually commiting the crimes, or is everything the result of US policy, flawed society, or the orange man.
Maybe the orange man will fuck up our international standing enough for us to face consequences for our global terror? That's unlikely but still more likely than it happening internally imo.

1. Y'inz are assuming refugees are the violent ones, when it's far more likely they're the victims of the violence.

2. Forcing people into untenable conditions and then using the predictable human behavior that results to argue for their continued oppression isn't that novel.

Similarly, it isn't entirely your fault that you're unable to relate history to current events despite knowing "only a generation from barbarity etc.". Sorry that I often forget that while going for the dunks.

Eh...election is too far away, what the economy is like today won't matter then. Independents that actually decide elections aren't gonna make any solid decisions this far out either.

The people that hate him aren't gonna vote for him no matter what he says or does. All this stuff in between is throwing meat to his supporters, telling them what they want to hear, keeping them interested.

If you take all the wild presumptions out of that you're left with this-

The biggest presumption was assuming you understood history it would seem, sorry you've been failed so greatly.

Take it easy, man. There's nothing new under the sun. This has all happened before. We live in a tape loop. Yes, look to history, just don't pick only the parts of it that validate what you already think.

Thanks for always being there to demonstrate my arguments, really helpful.

Oh so Yang's thing is a reactionary friendly take on UBI: plundering the safety net and implementing a regressive tax.

That's gonna be a yikes.
