mid-term, are really misleading. Considering no one else was offered as a choice, we'd have to assume that the mystery 'someone,' at the time of the primary 1.5 yrs from now, is deemed better to win. Even by Republican standards, right? But who?

The question amounts to: Do you want a better president than the current one, or not?
