You know what really grinds my gears? Keurigs. That's almost a bigger scam than bottled water

very wasteful if you use the pre-made k-cups, and the reuseable pack-your-own gives varying degrees of success but overall not great. I think it serves some purposes, e.g. in our clinic we have one out for patients because they don't drink enough or quickly enough to justify having a big ole industrial Bunn like we have for the employees (because we, largely I, drink a metric fuckload). I think it's pretty bogus for personal use, as someone who's had one.

A long black is a style of coffee, commonly found in Australia and New Zealand. A long black is made by pouring a double-shot of espresso or ristretto over hot water.

not in name but it seems to be equivalent to a double shot americano retaining the crema so technically yes since a lot of places will make it like that

My personal favorites are Pacific rim medium roast medium bodied coffees.
That's it, other than a true Italian brass espresso maker which would set me back many thousands.

Yea, moreso of you drink coffee black. Otherwise, out here in Oz, it's very common to own good quality cappuccino machines.(I do) I feel spoiled every time I use it, but I never owned anything like it in the states. I guess the novelty will wear off at some point.
