I don't know if this would be the right forum for this, however, someone took a picture of my son and well didn't do a great job. It's underexposed, grainy as hell, and the color balance is all messed up. I'm hoping to see if someone can do a better job than I could at retouching tthis to make it better.

Here's the original pic:

And here's my attempt at fixing it:

Any help would be appreciated

You have a drum kit?

And a cinder block wall?

This is your house? I've seen your house. I recall neither of these things.

Oh... also, I have no photoshop talent. Sorry.

I tried my best to improve it, here's how it turned out...

Basically I just used the "Insert Jill Wagner" option.

I could've prolly down better, but it's very time-consuming without a tablet... or mouse..

Two versions.

they noise just kills this thing.. the only real fix is to hand paint everything back in or to stage the pic and take it again, but with a flash.

Noise pretty much kills it. I tried to dumb down colours and flatten it out but it ended up not working aswell as just plain noise removal.

This took me a few mins to put together, didn't put a lot of effort into it (you can tell, it's all still very dark.) Lowering the reso will of course, make it better looking.
