FYI Perseids

The last time I saw these and was amazed by them was in CO.

I need to find some remote interior spot of Florida to try and see them properly out here. So much fucking light polution in this state.
Shoulda gone camping with us in the Ocala National Forest. :p
 
west virginia less than an hour here is pitch black. need to get out there again, it gets rural so fast.

Wouldnt mind living out there, assuming i didnt need a job. But i dont have a sister to marry, so i dont qualify.
Psssst we have minimal light pollution here
 
ehh, really? The worst of mine seems to come from DC, and you're way closer to DC than i am.
 
Clouded out or raining last few nights. Seen a few meteors, but wasn't sure if they were Perseids or Delta Aquariids (still learning my constellations and night sky).
 
They'll still be some up to a week after peak (last thurs/fri was peak). I think this year's Perseid forecast of 200/hr was a little overblown.
