paying bills

2 mortgages, HELOC, Condo fees, HOA fee (annual), 2 car insurance bills (semi-annual), car payment, motorcycle insurance (annual), rental insurance (annual), water/sewer (quarterly), satellite, phone/dsl, cell phone, gas/electric, credit cards (2 of them). I think that's it for us. We pay everything online and I'm really pushing for the move to paperless billing. I hate filing.
2 mortgages and you rent? WTF?

We own 2 houses, one of which we rent out to someone else. Perhaps it's not called rental insurance? We still have to have insurance on the place, but mostly the policy just covers cabinetry and drywall. It's a condo, so the condo master policy covers the structure, and I assume the renter takes care of contents.

Ah, that makes more sense.

We pay mortgage, car payment, car insurance, gas, phone, cable, electricity, cc's, medical bills, life insurance, HOA, I think that's all. The only thing I pay by check is the medical bills and the car payment and a couple credit cards that go to a credit union that doesn't have online bill pay. Everything else is done online.

Edit: and Thorn, you do have an accent, but it's a very cute one and we only love you all the more for it.

Less chance someone can steal them if they are floating though the tubes. :fly:

Unless someone pushes them through with poker chips and porn... then we may have a real problem.

I don't fully trust Online Banking yet but the GF swears by it. Currently we get the bills via mail and we either pay them over the phone or via e-check. That way we have both the paper bill and an electronic confirmation number. The numbers are written onto the bills, which are then filed for posterity.

right there with you. i'm ocd about my information, to the point where i fight anyone who asks for my ssn. the better i get at that, the bigger my balls get. shit scares me to death, and they say it's not a matter of if it strikes you, it's when. all i can do is be as diligent as i can on my end. :(

You know, someone opened a credit card in me name about a year back. It was one that I hadn't had an account with in over 6 or 7 years. I don't if they got ahold of my ssn or if the stupid company just allowed them to re-activate the account. So far, it's only happend to me once.

Some things directly come out of our bank account, everything else I pay online.
We have:
Car payment
Car insurance
Visa
Loan
Cell phones
Home phone
Internet
Cable
Rent
Power
Student Loans

I think thats all
