The worst thing about a 28 day month is when the next month is really long and you have to wait ages to get paid. I think between something and April this year I have to wait 5 weeks.

For me? Cos I get paid the last Weds of the month, so if a month ends on a Tuesday it sucks for the month after.

Over there they pay on a monthly basis, like contractors.

I used to get paid weekly when I was with an agency. Some people get 4 weekly which is nice but I get last Weds of every month, my partner gets last Tuesday. They pay you early at Xmas though and then January you get paid early so you don't go ages without getting paid.

we get every second tuesday, so some months we get three cheques. those months are AWESOME, and always seem to coincide with me needing to pay down my visas after a vacation.

Gayseed. Although I budget well, I only really get short on money the day before I get paid again. Still, it's much sweeter being paid weekly. Every Friday I'd leave work and buy myself a nice new book.

It was nice to treat myself every Friday evening. Now I kinda think about buying things when I'm paid but I have to think about the fact it has to last me a whole month so I never bother buying anything but the essentials.
