Omy , look what I found in my garage

First the pics:

Thats a harley sportster 1200R
Bought it from my dad, since he doesnt ride it anymore. He bought it new in 06 and it has about 2500 miles on it. I just paid off the balance of what he owed on it.
He already added a few things to it, forward controls,backrest, loud noisy pipe ends, re-jetted the carburetor and put a high volume intake on it.
The bike is fast. Really fast. and goddamn loud.
The only thing I really need to do to it myself is maybe some saddle bags to put my lunch and beers in. I also need a new helmet.

So talk about motorcycle stuff in here.

Plus there are some fasteners on the engine case that show some corrosion, I may try to replace them with some plated ones.

When we picked it up today, I was riding in the car behind him with the windows up and stereo blasting and still heard him accelerate!

The last bike we had, you could barely hear. Not real safe in a city of shitty drivers.
