GAY OMG Socialism!

My point was everyone is an asshole. No one cares about anything except how it effects them personally. The only way, an American, would ever help someone is if it benefited them personally.

^ this is the talk of a man who has never in a million years had a friend, much less a wingman.

No wonder you are so socially inept.

I don't think everyone would agree with that - unless that is how they operate. My point was that the whole country was not as united as people thought. Some felt it, but a decent population did not.

I know during Ike we all pulled together to help each other. Neighbors with power offered extension cords across the street for others. We'd help each other clean up. After Sandy blew through there were people who had power and offered it to others to charge phones and stuff. There are times when humans are kind.

There are assholes out there but not everyone is.

I recall America being pretty goddamned united after 9/11. It was a well known phenomenon for weeks, if not months afterward. It was even discussed on national media outlets multiple times.

Which is hilarious, because that should not be considered unusual.

People were exploiting it for profit days after it happened. Some still are. No one has ever helped anyone without helping themselves.

Erin Cox will think twice about helping a friend in need next time the situation arises.

The captain of North Andover High School’s volleyball team was suspended from the team recently for her involvement in an underage drinking party. Her involvement? She drove to it to pick up a friend, according to the Boston Herald.

The report indicates that Cox, 17, had just finished up work at the Andover Inn before meeting friends at an Andover yogurt shop. A friend, who was reportedly at said underage drinking party, asked her to come pick her up.

As Erin pulled up to the party on Main Street in Boxford, police from Boxford, Haverhill, Georgetown and North Andover showed up and arrested a dozen underage drinkers while also warning another 15 underage youths that they’d be summoned to court for drinking. Erin was one those 15 youths summoned.

Erin was stripped of her captaincy and suspended for five games. Meanwhile, her mother, Eleanor, filed a lawsuit hoping to reverse the high school’s punishment.

“I wasn’t drinking,” she said. “And I felt like going to get her was the right thing to do. Saving her from getting in the car when she was intoxicated and hurt herself or getting in the car with someone else who was drinking. I’d give her a ride home.”

awwwww poor Erin. I guess she should become a self serving douche from now on so that never happens again.

I beat two bullies up in High School for picking on a little Jewish kid. That fucking jew told the teachers he wasn't being picked on that he was fine. Subsequently I got in big trouble. I would still do the same.

tru.dat

just because there were a lot of people unhappy with the direction we were going doesn't mean we weren't for the most part united. hell, a good chunk of the world was at least tossing us a "that sucks bro, best wishes"

but then the derp started. and it has yet to cease

See what happens when you do the right thing?

The lesson is you should NEVER do anything unless it benefits you.
