I see Plex!

it didn't take long to realize that the synology's CPU can't handle any heavy transcoding

I do want to build another machine just to handle that, though...but since I never find myself gaming and watching something on plex at the same time it's probably not worth it

when I had the laptop and a second monitor in afghanistan this was my standard setup. sometimes I would reverse them so they were on opposite sides but still facing outward
