So it landed close enough for everyone but the pilot to jump out?
They are balanced in such a way that any dramatic change in weight has an almost instant effect. Once the three passengers jumped, with the pilot still at the help to control the ship, it skyrocketed up. The pilot never stood a chance.
This didn't crash in any way shape or form like Hindenberg. That went down in a fireball of blazing hydrogen. It was the blimp on fire. This was a fuel fire only. I know the result was similar but the cause wasn't.
Harmful for airship pilots to be reading this thread while piloting said airship.
