Movie rating carry no weight, they are completely voluntary and made by a private organization.

Which is fine and dandy, but these are the same people that freak out over things and put more and more restrictions/laws on silly stuff.

I mean... where is the logic? Simply preventing kids from seeing movies with smoking in them isn't going to magically fix that issue. It all starts with good parenting.
