The Richard Bong State Recreation Area is outside of Kenosha. I only know it is there because of some research I was doing on state parks. I'm sure I've driven by a sign for it too, although I think the sign just says Bong State Recreation Area. I'm not surprised there's more than one thing named after the guy.
