My life is full of IFs

i didn't figure this out until I was already an adult. I wish someone would have told me.

What if I had graduated high school? I'd be stuck with $100,000 in student loans and a shitty job.

What if I hadn't decided to explore the handling limits of a Ford Escort? I wouldn't have cracked up my first car :(

What if I hadn't killed that hooker the other day? I wouldn't have this new pair of gloves.

Isotoners?

QFT

That's how I've tried to live my life. Dwelling on the past and regretting is futile, a waste of time and energy. Learn from the choices you make and keep looking ahead where you can be proactive.

Agreed. That still doesn't stop my mind from wandering once in a while here in my isolation cell at work though........ :)

i share my office. it's actually really nice sometimes, the lady I share with could care less what goes on on this side of the office and she's really pretty cool by comparison.

She's got a lot of cat stories though.

we've got some of those here too- I'm just one of the lucky people that has a single desk :) And there's even some triple occupancy cubes too!!!

I actually get along with her really well, I couldn't imagine sharing an office with anyone else. She's got her own stuff to do and isn't into my business at all. Plus, we have pretty close to the same sense of humor and the same views on a lot of issues. If I didn't get along with her, I'd be upset that I had to share an office. Even if we could fit a third person in here I don't think I could deal with that, even if they were cool. Sometimes I really want the one officemate I have now to go away and with 2 other people, there will ALWAYS be another person there.

I tend to be a little claustrophobic, so multi-occupancy was not an option for me :)
