I was filled with anxiety the whole time. I wasnt able to relax until they were in orbit. It was all I could do not to cry as I saw it go up. So fucking awesome.
Same.I was filled with anxiety the whole time. I wasnt able to relax until they were in orbit.
They were fucking excited, you tampon.Same.
Sidenote, does it piss anyone else off that they fucking start talking and commenting as if everything was good before they get to a safe point for an abort? They started running their mouths before they even fucking reached MECO
Our pesky mountains to the NE are blocking it right now.APOD: 2020 July 9 - Noctilucent NEOWISE

Has anyone gotten up before dawn to spot Comet NEOWISE? Should be visible naked eye in the Northeastern skies low on the horizon before dawn. Would look even better using a pair of binoculars. In short order it will be visible in early evening. I've had too much fog outside in the morning (and inside my head before 5am) to bother getting up early.

the dog....@Josh How bright is this comet? The dog woke me up at 5am. I looked to the NE. The sky was a bit hazy, but I saw something pretty damn bright. Seemed too bright for a comet, but maybe?
Supposedly around magnitude 2 or around the brightness of Polaris (the north star). Definitely naked eye visible. It has an apparent tail as well.@Josh How bright is this comet?
