memories

Here we go again.

I have never had one either that I know of and I have been tested.

...but I am open to the fact that I could possibly have a dormant whatever just like most people have... including your slimey ass. Cervical cancer is caused by the HPV (?)virus and that does not show up in std testing.

Quit kidding yourself.

I've never had one and I've never been tested. If I ever did end up with and STD, Knyte would need to find a new place to live very quickly.

:fly: That's totally doubtful that it will ever happen.

... just don't get caught looking at porn. :shifty:

I cant believe the title to this thread hasnt been changed to "mammories" yet.
The mods here suck.
And so does the mod bot.
It keeps sending me PMs, I think its hitting on me.

Fondest memory, going with my Dad to Delaware to purchase my first computer. I don't remember the store name. But it was worth the drive to save like $200 in sales tax :fly: (I lived in NJ at the time, to clear that up). That's like one of only a handful of fond memories I have with my dad. He was and still is an asshole.

Fondest memory, also funny memory: Taking my older bro to Ozzfest 1998 in Camden. Like 12 hours of metal. It was the fucking shit. And my first concert. I was 16 at the time. Tool was the 2nd to last band to play (Ozzy being last of course) and this huge mosh pit opened up right behind us in the lawn "seating" area. My brother somehow got kicked in the nose and broke it. After the concert, we were checking out our injuries (well his, cuz I managed not to get hurt or anything) and I'm looking at my bro's nose, "hey Ben I think you broke your nose" and I proceeded to grab his nose like a horn. hahahah

When I think about it, most of my fondest memories revolve around concerts or meeting bands.

Funny memory: My friend wrote a stupid VB script to use the Windows "Net Send" command so we could send messages to each other while in VB class in like Junior yr of HS. However, the computers would beep (no speakers hooked up, just the case speaker) every time a message was received. Eventually the teacher caught on and almost gave us all detentions.

So how many illegitimate children would you guess you have?

Well, based on their posts, I'm assuming all the posters at Genmay with a UID of 300k or higher are probably mine.

(actually, no little nukers running around. And yeah, of this I'm sure.)

every time i hear the song 96 tears, i think of my dad picking me up from an overnight girl scout thing. it was in his old green chevy (one of those OLD ones,) we were traveling on an overpass, it was raining, and that song was on. i remember feeling so safe, so content that morning, despite the rain.

songs are the key to retaining memories for me. without songs, i wouldn't have HALF the stuff in my head still.

You and me both.

More so since when I find a song I like, I tend to listen to it a lot until the next song comes along, so certain songs become associated with certain times in my life...

For example, "Wake Up" by "Rage Against the Machine" will always make me think of playing Counterstrike with the rest of the gaming club at St. Pete College. :p

Careless Whispers will forever be associated with a massive makeout session I had on New Years Eve my senior year of high school. Lisa Loverink. Never found out what happened to that girl, and never really saw her much again after that night, but god, what a way to ring in the new year.
