I've done that a couple times by accident. Mostly because I don't expect people knocking on the door at 2am.

I've had issues with people thinking my house is a different one? Maybe because there are no outside lights but idk, they just walk in randomly demanding to talk to 'James.' The 20lb beagle sounds scary in the dark though.
