My 7 year old son goes in for surgery tomorrow to retrieve one of his testicles. It is stuck up in his body and they have to cut on him to put it in the sack. Keep him in your thoughts (I don't say prayers because there is no god) and I'll report back when I have an update.

I love you so I will refrain from "dropping the ball" jokes

best wishes for a safe surgery and speedy recovery

He's not sure what to expect. Kind of good that he doesn't know about the pain of recovery. We have explained it but, without experiencing it, he can't relate.

Hopefully dropping will be all. Worst case, they'll have to remove it. I told my wife I would call him "Jonny One-Nut" if that happens. She did not like that joke.

how did this happen?
did you son have an accident?

my cousin had this when he was 8, he fell off a horse.
his surgery went well and he recovered with the quickness!

Nope, just natural. His nuts have always floated up and down like all boys his age. When time came for his body to seal up the hole that they float through, it just so happened that his right one was up and not in the sack. Now the hole is closed and the nut can't come down.
