I'm sure theac, at least, will be enthusiastic about this. It seems to have the same look and feel of the PS2 game. I wonder how they'll work the controls. The psp only has one analog... maybe use that for forward, back, left, right and use the shoulder buttons for roataion. Who knows.

It looks really dumb, but apparently its really good. I watched theac and bast play it for hours, it was pretty funny...

It does look dumb. It also doesn't sound like it'd be any fun at all. Maybe there's some people who don't like it, but once you play it you end up getting hooked. You find yourself thinking things like, "Man, I can't wait to roll over that cat," or, "Just a little bit more and I can take out that entire harbor."

I hate you. I don't want to buy a PSP, but you're forcing my hand.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, you can get NES, SNES, and other emulators for it once you have it. I got one for my birthday in July and haven't bought a game for it yet. Too busy playing old nintendo games.

Also:

It's a handy device for finding open wifi access points.

If I wanted a slick device for playing emulators, I'd buy this : http://www.engadget.com/entry/1234000370061637/

Besides, there are NES and SNES emulators for the DS and it costs $100 less.

It's getting to the point where I don't get anything about Japanese people. Even their games are fucking weird.

Oh, I'm sure the DS is a fine machine, and I wouldn't mind having one myself. The PSP was a gift, so cost suddenly became a non-issue. It was more of a "well, I've got this device. What can I do with it," kind of thing.
