Japanese Porn Industry Wringing Its Hands in Anticipation.

I can not like you and still like everyone else. Instead of not saying why you are acting like this and telling me to leave, you could try to explain why this thread seems to not meet your desire for content, and yet all the poop threads do.

It's a sound, not a phrase - think tacky 70's porn music.....and I don't know why I posted it, it just felt good to say.

Right, I recognized the reference. What I didn't get was why you posted it when you did.

Because a mild tiff always turns into a hot and kinky sex scene.

And it looks like there's a flag on the play, Dan, for improper use of a comma.

Yeah, I cringed when I stole that from GlockTalk because the comma goes against everything I stand for.

I'm going to respond to this publicly, Chikken, because I think a lot of the new(er) kids don't get it.

This is not Genmay. This isn't your blog. This isn't a news site. We come here to talk to each other, not at each other. As such, all posts are required to have some form of content. By that, we mean something that will stimulate others to discuss something with you. There used to be a post in PG when it was still around that did a good job of explaining this and linking to examples of what are good and bad posts. You came in during a transitional time when we did away with the PG to try a new initiation method and haven't finished reconfiguring the forum rules and FAQ. For that, we're sorry and we're working to straighten that out.

Its ok to post a news story if you want to discuss it, but you have to set up the debate with some kind of questions or statement to get the ball rolling. Just posting the news story with no added commentary is something we can do with a vB plugin. If I wanted that, I'd fill the place with newscrawlers and chatbots and delete all the members. Just posting for the sake of spam or because your bored will make this place an unnavagible shithole that no one will want to read.

We want to keep the signal to noise ratio high. If you're not into that, there are plenty of other forums for you.

I get this. It's not new, nor is it any sort of suprise. What I dont' get is why you seem to need to take such a defensive stand against me. You don't agree with a few of my views and now we don't have the best interactions.

This thread, prior to your above post, continued with good content, funny comments and discussion that fostered relationships between other members. Now, when you came in you came back to a topic that we have moved on from.

My point being is there are mostly threads with content only understood by close friends. It's not a very open place, where if you don't know someone already, you wont work here. What I'm trying to do is get conversations going that can open things up and foster new ties with people that I don't know yet.

Take for example the thread by El Borracho. He's a cool guy that I talk to on AIM, but hadn't noticed that he posted here. He had not been back in a regular manner, but because of my posts and posts of equal sort, he decided that it was worth coming back.

Now, these are the reasons that I have for doing what I do here. I don't seem to have any beefs with any other member, just you and you alone. You can either get to know me like many others are, ignore me, or ban me. Ultimatly it's up to you.
