We're having Corned beef (Homemade) and cabbage for dinner. I decided to skip the parade because of rain. I'm just going to stay close to home tonight and have a few beers. Way too many cops on the road this week and they will have roadblocks out later tonight.

WTF y'all sound like women up in here. Sheesh. Silly breeders.

Well I have to say last night was quite productive. After going to an English sports bar with a concert set up outside and stupidly high priced beer, chim found a tweet from our favorite brewmaster that he was in town. Why this is a big is because he's the spokeperson for BrewDog Brewery of Scotland.

James and one of the other brewers was in town to be the first stop of 12 to release the strongest beer in the world, Sink the Bismarck.

We also had the privilege of trying a few others he had sneaked around, like a 30-some% smoke stout (which should be going on sale for around $70 a bottle) and a 20-some% english ale as well as a batch of something he is putting together called Shark.

If you want to know more about our experiences before and last night with this brewer, please ask. The Bismarck was epically delicious. Not nearly has powerful in the alcohol department in taste because it has so many other flavors working with it.

All in all, a great way to end the evening. Meeting up with friends, having some of the best beer in the world, finding a great new hole in the wall, seeing a couple green kilts. One of the greatest St Patty's Days I have ever had.

That sounds awesome DB

So the 'Sink the Bismarck' is worth it if I can find it?

Not coming to the US quite yet. They don't know how to classify it yet as it's technically a 82 proof ale

You are also looking around $100 at least for a 12oz bottle if/when it comes.

Their 32% Tactical Penguin should be for sale soon, at $70 a bottle. If you like your liquid smoke a bit more syrupy, I suggest you try that one.
