THAT'S for damn sure, whomever put the interior doors in this house decided to change the location of the hinges from standard.

Made installing a stupid replacement door into a 4 hour project instead of 15 minutes.
The people here were obsessed with seconds and such. The finish trim in most of the house is vinyl, with deer on it! and is not level or plumb and just >.<
 
Damn. Why does anyone live where it gets that cold..? Makes no sense whatsoever.

Anyways.. Nice framing.. Why burn the wood and not reuse it?
It's dry rotted to about knee height, and every one of those sheathing boards has about 4 nails through them and into the studs. By the time you get done prying them off the wall they are in splinters. To reuse wood it has to be perfect, or be big.

Most of the temporary bracing holding up the wall is made from wood that's been torn down. To actually use a bunch of little pieces though requires more cutting and nailing than is practical.
