Seriously it sounds like some real measurement.

They should add henweight between pound and stone.
 
The concept of making all measurements divisible by 10 makes far too much sense for it ever to catch on in America.
For human use sizes, standard is easier cause; 1 /4 /8 /16 /32 everything is halved, in metric everything is ten-thed, 1 .1 .01 .001 and 1/1000th is a lot smaller than 1/16th.

Metric you get tons of specific measurements to use. Which is more numbers to remember, rather than remembering one number and working off fractions of it. Then people start calling for 16ths of meter which I cant even think of...
