Food The (not so) delicious food thread

Does that work?

Do you like, stand it up on the kitchen table so it's blowing hot air upwards, by zip tieing it to a chunk of wood or an old car part? and the whole family gets their own pair of tongs and skewers for heating up their wontons and chicken balls?

"HONEY THE KITCHEN SMELLS LIKE BURNT CHEMICALS"
"oh I forgot, I used it to quickly dry the primer coat so I could quickly get the sec-"
"THERE'S SMOKE COMING OUT OF THE HEAT GUN"
*smoke detector goes off...*
What if I like that smooth chemical draw?

I like the sensation of drinking Robocop's melted down corpse.

I dunno - I bet if you fried those chicken nuggets with a stick of butter a the frying pan, they'd be 10x better than the air fryer.

Found the best use ever for the air fryer earlier though - reheating leftover fried wontons from chinese takeout. Freshens them right up.
Someone is spicy today! I'm very sorry for insulting the air fryer!

Smoked half a dozen racks of ribs on the WSM today, for a socially-distanced barbecue with the neighbors.

gee rub, 6.5 hours at 220F over apple wood, finished on the grill with a modified mike mills apple city sauce. Replaced the apple cider it calls for with honeycrisp apple juce reduced to about 1/3 volume. Also made peanut pie.

Went over real gud.
