Food The (not so) delicious food thread

i think caviar is gross. you can’t pay me enough money to ever try it again..

who here eats it and knows about it (i’m laughing even asking y’all this)

i have to deal with this shit in a flight next week. 12 oz sturgeon caviar is being delivered to me for the passengers
Its like eating kinda fishy, crunchy ocean water.
I don't see what the issue is, there are worse things I've had.

I've had cured salmon roe which I guess is close. The dude who said crunchy fish juice pretty much nailed it cept I'd add salty Has a weird mouthfeel.

Put your Ritz crackers on a paper plate then spoon it out with a plastic spork and don't forget the spray cheese.

Don’t use metal utensils. Traditionally like a mother of pearl spoon is used. You can serve them with blini if you like

Ive been trying to find Blinis everywhere and I cant.
I saw some at Walmart and I can buy those lol
any ideas?
They are pancakes...? Yeast flour milk eggs

Are yeast pancakes a thing?

And crème fraiche, minced chives, finely chopped hard boiled eggs.

Do you people even caviar?
So rich people spend all that money on sturgeon eggs then mix it with hard boiled eggs like some trailer park hillbilly? Do you eat potato salad with it too and wash it down with Mt Dew?

I made some Moussaka last night. Two hours of labor, but it was delicious. Not my photo, but that's the gist. It's eggplant, potatoes, meat, and Béchamel.
