Food The (not so) delicious food thread

Now that mention it, when you put it that way, it does seem odd to eat dead things.
Ya it's a philosophical excersize no doubt.

Or not really. Everything just lives by killing and taking what it can, whether directly or indirectly. From the first amoeba to our so-called better selves.

Ya, I think it's weird sometimes too.

Now, PFOA (and possibly GenX) are horrible compounds, which are used to emulsify the PTFE so they can spray coat it on the pan at the factory.

But they don't end up in the finished frying pan, they only pollute the groundwater around the factories that use it :/
Isn't that the shit that was found in THE ENTIRE WORLD'S blood like 5 years after they started using it?

Somewhat unrelated but I remember reading there is some parts per billion atrazine found in rain world wide, like before it hits the ground.

It would be much weirder to eat alive things.
"Ok, dinner was good ma. Think we'll have your other leg tomorrow!"

Well yeah, very true.
Funny though, I see an apple on a tree or in a store I think hey, I can eat that.
I see a chicken and I say Hey a chicken.
I dont really think of it as food while it's clucking around.

Saw that on some TV show somewhere. Guy was missing one leg because his captors were eating him. I think they were cutting stuff off and cooking it fresh though.
