Pina colada ice cream pie was a hit at work.

Filling was the co-worker's recipe, I made a couple small adjustments to it and fired it in a graham crust, then some whipping cream on top. Good shit.
 
I had cracker barrel once in my life. Tried the chicken fried steak to see what it was all about.

I don't get it, is it supposed to be some kind of pinnacle of american cuisine or something? It's a fucking chewy well done steak in fried chicken breading, and the breading doesn't make the steak any better.

They do a decent breakfast, but beyond that its old folks shit.
 
Had a banh mi sandwich from a local Vietnamese bakery with fried tofu (and the usual suspects, radish, daikon, ginger, cucumber, carrot, fish sauce) for dinner.

Was delicous.
