I do like DD's Boston Cream donut, though. Not a great fan of most of the other types. Something about that one just hits everything right

There's a mom and pop shop here that makes a cannoli donut, crisp yet tender donut shell and that cannoli filling.
Drool.
I need to order something to help them out. So good.

I want to try salt curing some egg yolks, but don't want to waste the whites. Any ideas what I can use them for that doesn't involve dessert or freezing them?

Put meringue on your donuts.

There's tons of stuff that uses just the whites though I can't thing of a specific one other than eggwhite omelettes.
 
Use the whites for the flour/egg/flour routine for chicken fried steak and everything else you can think of that's battered and fried.


Onion rings man you have to do homemade onion rings omg so good.
