I'm telling you it's crosswire in the right hand drawer that will get us out of this

i have a canon a70, had it for nearly two years. i have no complaints, it's been good to me.

I haven't read the whole thread, but I recommend buying the most expensive Nikon Coolpix or Canon Powershot you can afford. They are very reliable cameras and I've only heard good things about them. When I get around to getting a point and shoot camera, it will be the equivalent of the 7mp Nikon Coolpix that is available today.
