I'll take two

You mean like they did in the 2nd Terminator as well as the TV series?
Ghost already answered but I was thinking of the first movie when he mentions something about it. Was a huge plot hole when 2 came out, but it's not hard sci-fi so no one really cares. Usually starts fights amongst fans, like star wars vs star trek.

I couldnt get into the series, it's like yay River and all but the dialogue was cringe inducing.

Shit. The flux capacitor's come a long way.

firefighters use SCBA's, thats what you need.

rebreathers are a closed loop and they scrub the air you breath, injecting oxygen to keep it at a certain %, so it's effectively recycled air. normal scuba gear is an open loop, everything you breath in is from your tank, everything you breath out goes out into the water.

*partial pressure :p

getting high on variations of proper O2 levels?
I want to dive soooo bad having been a swimmer but I've never gotten around to it.
Nah, there's a danger of oxygen toxicity (Seizures, among other things) with lengthy exposure at high pressures.

At sea-level 100% oxygen has a partial pressure of 1, and even at that exposure level you are limited in how long you can "safely" breathe it.

my valhalla would be to dive on a wreck eeryday. no joke
shit like this gives me wet dreams :)
