I read about that yesterday. It's cool for visitors, but 'the taxpayers' are still footing the bill. I didn't read your link, but the one I read said they do believe there is room to increase prices they're just reviewing how.

The rice increase mentioned here last year seemed to be pretty ridiculous for a day pass but still cheap for a season (to me). Maybe they're evening that out a bit?
