okay, real answer, if you do any type of IT work, hit up craigslist for temp/contract jobs, onforce.com, fieldsolutions.com, etc. I get a few contract jobs from them every once in awhile. most of the time I avoid them due to the low pay, but as said previously, beggars can't be choosers if you are desperate. Once you get your foot in the door with some of those larger IT staffing firms, then they will go to their pool of previous workers before putting out to the sites I listed above.
