The people that own the house are apparently millionaires.
They offered to finance the house for us. But we dont know the people (obviously) and I certainly wouldnt be comfortable doing that.
But none of that pertains to the topic of this thread.

well just so you know, it wasn't some scam. it's a route in today's market to get people financed that alot of people are taking that mutually benefits both parties involved, as it moves the house for the owner, and lets a buyer who otherwise couldnt get it becuase of either down payment or credit issues to purchase it.

the risk is ACTUALLY on the seller.
