I face a dilema - Monitoring Software

It's absolutely different. A purse is personal property. A computer is company property. There is absolutely nothing about a work computer that is personal.

It is easy to see the differences in some contexts. But lets say that you have a notepad that is provided for you by the office. Now lets say you keep that notepad in your private bag. Do they have the right to take it out of the bag? Even if itis sitting on your desk?

All of this dodges the fact that if you treat your employees like shit, you wind up getting less out of them.

In a more understandable example. It is not possible to monitor your children using their cell phone. You can have a good idea of where they are at any given time. Should you? It is within your right. But is it necessary? Especially when none of this was needed in the past to make sure kids were ok.
