So I was driving on our shittiest and busiest hwy (HWY 401) headed for Toronto.. I had my mom on the phone (hands free) and we were gabbing about something when all of the sudden I see a blue car, kinda like an old cutlass hit the end of a tractor trailer.. the car was about 3 cars ahead of me on the far right lane..I was in the middle lane.
i sat there looking at what apperared to be some shit i watch on youtube... all in slow motion the car is just spinning and spinning and it hit the truck AGAIN, this time debris started flying everywhere... at this point im just screaming in fucking horror... like i have never screamed before.. the fucking car starts to head towards my car and the whole time the tractor trailer is swaying back and forth like its going to tip over.
all i remember is screaming and my car running over debris and shit hitting my beloved jetta. I'm looking at my rearview mirror and i see a sea of trucks and cars coming my way and I guess I headed to wards the fast lane cuz my car just stopped. I just remember screaming and screaming and screaaaaming and i looked over and the car was fucking demolished. The whollllle time my mom is on the hands free and is screaming at me asking me wtf is going on.
I found my phone, hung up on her and called 911. the operator told me NOT to get out of the car as i was sitting on half the shoulder and half the fast lane. No cars where coming cuz I guess the highway stopped moving. 911 Operator kept asking me of I can see the person in the car was moving and i just kept screaming nooooo NO ONE IS MOVING!!!
then all of the sudden i could smell fuel. nasty ass fuel.
i dont know at what point the OPP showed up (highway patrol) and the cop took my phone and spoke to 911 and he reached inside and grabbed my water and kept telling me to drink it... but i was fucking hysterical... he called for an ambulance for me and then some tow truck guy showed up.. the fire fighters came to us and told us to move my car ASAP cuz of the fuel spill everywhere.
all i could do was just look at this car in a million pieces...
eventually i refused the ambulance to go to the hospital and i was towed and escorted to the next exit where i sat and waited for a friend to come and get me...the cops took a statement and told me im a witness. this happened around 130-140pm and the highway remained fucked up til 6pm... the alignment on my car is fucked up and there is some damage on the right side of my car from the pieces of the other car.
i dont know if the person survived .. I hope they did. i was pretty fucked up all day yesterday and i dont think im going to drive for a while.
thank god my son wasn't in the car with me.
