i'm not lucky enough for a volvo. i'm a very good driver, and i'm one who can manage to cell phone and drive. driving's never something i put on the back burner.

I drive an automatic (a stylish 1995 Saturn station wagon to be exact, hah).

Typically I will drive with one hand on the wheel. Often my left hand will be at either 8 o' clock or from 10-12 o' clock. I will do exactly the opposite if I'm driving with my right arm (hand at 4 o' clock or between 12 and 2 o' clock). In rare instances I will hold the wheel between 10 and 11 o' clock with my right hand. It's kind of awkward but sometimes it feels good.

The only time I put two hands on the wheel is if the weather is really, really bad.

Normal - Left at 7and Right at 5 with both elbows on my lap

When shifting- Left at 7 with my arm on my lap, right hand on shifter.

Breakneck speeds -Left at 10 and Right at 2, Window down, Face in the eyes, lips, nostrels peeled back and flapping *looking like Tommy Lee Jones in Space Cowboys, such a great scene...

Monkey Style - left foot at 7, right elbw on the shifter, half a bagle in hands, half a bagle w/ creamcheese stuck to the passenger window.

Cruzin' - Left on grip, right on throttle, resting my tender bits on a cold, steele tank and punchin' it, baby. oo-yah.
