We had about 18" of snow accumulated on the ground from the past few weeks snows. Wednesday night it was warm enough to rain. Then very early Thursday, soon after midnight, the temp dropped like a mofo. I left for work at 4:45am Thursday and by that time there was another 6" of snow. It took me 90 minutes to get out of my driveway and down my street to a main road.
