The Bruins, like the Blackhawks, will suck until the ownership changes or dies. The Bruins only have one way to go and that is up. Hopefully with all of the off season changes things are looking up.

Oh he will be, hes a really solid player and can get really agressive in the corner. But looking at his stats for last year he really didnt have as many assist but then again we basically sucked passing last year so who can blame him.
You think the Blues will make the playoffs but not the Stars? As probably the biggest hockey fan here (by default because I'm a canuck), I predict the following:
Eastern Confernce: Ottawa, Buffalo, Montreal, Carolina, Atlanta, Philly, NY Rangers and Boston make the playoffs. Ottawa beats Buffalo in the east finals.
Western Confernce: Detroit, Anaheim, Nashville, San Jose, Calgary, Minnesota, Vancouver and St. Louis make the playoffs. San Jose beats Anaheim in the West finals.
I love it when they punch one another in the helmet with their padded gloves.

The Stars should be a lock for the playoffs, then follow it up with a choke job in the first round.
Mark my words, the Blue Jackets will be in the playoffs this season.
I think Brule may win the Calder this year over Malkin, but without quality goaltending, I'm not sure how far the Jackets can go.
Arnott is not that great. I watched him here, and he's great at racking up big numbers when it doesn't matter. His playoff performance was not good. For what he got paid and the years, I'm glad we didn't resign him. They will regret having him as their number one center.I think age will catch up with the Stars this year for guys like Modano and Zubov, plus they lost Arnott, who Ithink is great. Turco will do a good job, and they might get into the playoffs, but they're definitely not as good as last year. The additions of Ribiero, Lindros and Barnaby don't impress me too much.

I think their age is a concern, but we do have some younger players that might have a good impact. I think if we can get some consistent effort from the team, they could go far. Turco is the biggest question mark to me.

Speaking of Tampa, what was up with Martin St. Louis last year? Did he just have a lucky year when they won the cup, or was something else going on?
