I have to acknowledge their existence because they not only allow for the clone wars series but anything made in the future will consider them canon. So I can accept that the events of those movies happened but that the way the story was told was grossly inaccurate.

And so back to important stuff ...

Maybe if JJ's movies kick ass they let him reimagine the prequels and fix Lucas's mess. I can't stand how they turned Obi Wan into a senile idiot. "I don't remember owning any droids."
