So, I am the Treasurer of USF's Formula Society of Automotive Engineers racing team (usfracing.com) Every year we build a racecar, then go race it.
None of that is really new to anyone here, here's the new stuff.
The school's insurance kicked our bus that we take to competition off their insurance. After checking literally 150+ insurance carriers, we found 1 quote.
We have also investigated renting vehicles to get us up there.
Bottom line is we are roughly $6k short of getting to competition.

One of the rewards for donating is getting your name, or business' name on the car. If there is enough money gained from the forum, I will talk to the other executive board members and see if we can get something forum related on the car (if that is what is wanted)
